Just a word of advice..

Re-read what you wrote.. was it a Letter to someone you do not know or an email to a guy you know? If it was the first as I suspect it was.. I hope you started with something like:

Hi, My name is Bill XYZ ... and I know you do not know me, but I saw your car posted at the Team Chevelle web site and I just wanted to tell you, I think it is soo nice!! I was wondering, if it wasn't too much trouble, Could I possibly speak with you about your car? maybe I could give you my phone number or better yet I could call you since it may be long distance.. and I could just ask you a few questions?

Now if you wrote something like that AND had a suitable Subject Line (with good grammar) which he wouldn't just delete or get sent to spam.. I would bet that he would email you back.

NOW.. if you wrote an email and not a letter like so many now days do.. the one like you're writing to someone YOU KNOW with a few sentences, no introduction and merely saying something like:

Yo.. my name is Bill and I love your car, can I talk to you about your car.

That email, when I get it.. gets dumped.

Just checking to make sure you didn't do what so many seem to do these days.. lose all sense of manners when writing to someone you do not know.

Sir, i meant no harm what so ever with what i said and i hope no one took it that way. I am truly sorry if it sounded that way too. I have already had communication with the gentleman who owns the car and have asked him a few questions about his car. The only thing i wanted from him is a few answers if he found time to do so. If he does not have time (i know he`s a dentist and they are busy), that`s okay too. Have a great day and again, i hope nobody`s feelings were hurt in the post. :)

I was merely responding to help you.. it appeared as though you had tried to make a contact with this fella and had not heard back from him.. I merely presented some information as to why.. possibly that might occur. So, now I am sorry if you took that the wrong way.
