we are building an olds 350 got a pile of simple bolt ons and one of them is an edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock says to use a quadrajet or a holley spreadbore carb that there is a clearnace problem with the edelbrock carbs. any ideas what the clearance issue is? is there an adapter plate that can make the carb and manifold a happy couple?

Don't know about the performer,but I have a performer rpm on my wifes 350 olds with an edelbrock carb not having any problems.
