I have 840 rec ports and plan on changing to 215's. my question is I have one good 215, what are other casting numbers that are the same? would a 802 work? I am going by what is on Mortec.com

Not sure on the 802's but 063's are the same as 215's.

#290's are also basically the same with 101cc chambers they are a 1970 head. The 1968 #215, 1969 #063, and the 1970 #290 are 101cc heads. The older closed chamber heads were smaller CC and 1971 and up were the beginning of the open chamber heads 113cc and up. Switching from 840's (107cc) to a 215/063/290 head will boost compression somewhat, so keep that in mind. Your low to mid range power should pickup using the oval ports rather than the bigger Sq ports that are more high RPM range. I have a spare set of #215's if your close to michigan shipping wouldnt be that bad. email supersport6667@hotmail.com

I have the 802's on my 402, they are open chambereed 113cc, and the 215's are semi-closed chambers.
