I have a set of aluminum wheels that were on my car when I bought it. Have about 1,000 miles on them. They are polished wheels with the little holes around the circumfrence. They are about 1 1/4" diameter. They are all 15x7 and are like new.
A guy down the street has an old S-10 that has a set of american racing torq thrust. The original gray center / machined lip. They are a little beat up but presentable. What ro you think my chances are that he would swap? How would you go about it? I will offer to re-mount the tires on the other rims. Maybe new lug nuts? $100.00?
I'm thinking he might bite as the wheels I have are new & shiny. Any suggestions?
