Im currently restoring my front disk brakes. From spindle out. Unfourtunality it has 2 piece rotors and one of them are toast. Not sure what too do about the bad rotor. Should I get aftermarket one piece rotors.
Im trying to do a concours resto. Im having my original dust plates and caliper bracket replated. I am using GM remanufactured calipers from Raybestos. All bolts are coming from Hinshaws. I glass beaded the spindles tonight and will be putting a light coat of Natural finish on them tommorow.

Am I missing anything. Looks like the brakes will be all original except for the rotors ????
I am very picky about all SS specific Items and want to only use the best parts available. Im afraid when these parts are not restored correctly people may start to doubt pedigree.

If one of your 2 piece rotors is bad I would change both to a new 1 piece for now, until you find another 2 piece rotor.
Good luck finding a 1 piece rotor and if you do be prepaired to pay some coin for it. I was lucky mine were like new on my 69.
