Title says it all, for a '70 chevelle:

I pulled out the 3/8 bolt holding the bulkhead on from the engine side.
I pulled the screws and unfastened the inside part of the bulkhead, with all the fuses on it.

I can't figure out how to get the rest of it apart - I'll be replacing the engine and forward lamp harness soon, and would like to take this thing apart now. I know the engine side is in 2 pieces, but can't get it apart.

Any words of wisdom? Pics?
Thanks!

PULL.

They are gooped with a rubbery sealant to prevent moisture and you really have to clean the junk out with a dental pick or something. It should come out easily once the sealant is removed.

Thanks - guess I'll have to try and seal it back up when I replace everything, too.

I would just run a bead of black Permatex silicon sealer around the edge for weather protection and leave it at that. I will look nicer too.

Good luck
