What are the differences between a Saginaw and Muncie 4-spd trans???

My neighbor has one that he 'may' let go, but has no idea what it is.

Casting numbers on the right side of the case and bearing retainer are:

3851325---Case---also has cast in "GENERAL MOTORS CORP" on passenger side.
3851326---Bearing retainer

A Saginaw 4-speed has all three shift levers on the side cover. A Muncie has the reverse lever on the tailshaft.
