I'm new on this site and I just traded for a 71 SS BB AT non AC body. The car was originally antique green(49) with green interior. Since it is a non AC car I want to use white interior but it seems the 71 didn't offer white. I can get white in a 72 interior and I know it will all fit but I don't know how much if any difference there is in the appearance. The car came with a bench seat and I'm going back with one.
Thanks,
Taz

The only differences between 71 and 72 interiors is the seat belt warning light on the dash and the seat belts themselves. As far as the uphostery is concerned, no difference. I have '72 white in my '71 for that same reason.

On 72's cars built after January 1, 1972 have the seat belt lights, early models do not.
