I recently purchased a 1964 Chevelle SS Convertible that does not have seat belts installed, I have been searching the net for correct seat belts, reproductions or anything close with no luck, any ideas or contacts?

Check out some of the sponsor's here. Most have repro belts. And Also checkout the classifieds. Some times you'll find someone parting out a Chevelle.

I just bought some generic black seat belts with chrome buckles at a swap meet...of course they are not original style but they look good. For the back seats i installed two sets of belts, the inward mounting locations were just on each side of the driveshaft and the outward mounting locations were between the frame and the wheelwell. If you take the rear seat bottom out, locate the belts just below the rear seat back. That places them just on the vertical upswing of the floorpan, probably 3-5 inches up from the bottom.

just ordered belts today for my 64 ss. i know of no exact repos made for a 64, so i opted for generic style w/airplane buckle. google seatbelts, i got mine from a place called seatbeltsplus.com 2 front 2 back w/hdrw. and retractors cost under a hundred bucks. these appear to be very similar to the ones in the resto catalogs at about half the price.
