Does anyone know the correct plug gap for a bone stock 283 w/points?

Thanks,

Thanks Scott!

I ordered a set of manuals, but my plugs and wires got here first. Couldn't wait...

:beers:,

Try using a worn dime!!

Should be about right!!

And fwiw, the older Mechanics around our small country town taught me this back in the mid '60's, when I was in HS!!

Thanks Guys!! I've heard of the matchbook cover, but never the worn dime technique. Good to know if I'm ever stuck without a spark plug gap tool!
