This topic was kicked around earlier, but I was curious how many have recently tried to stop smoking using Chantix.

I'm on Day 75 without smoking and have been off Chantix as well for over a month.

The shocking if not disturbing thing about all of this is this equation:

75 Days without smoking X 1 pack a day (20) = 1500 Cigarettes not smoked.

What a disturbing thought.

7300 Cigarrettes a year.

226,300 cigarrettes in the 30 years I've smoked since age 10.

It's no wonder smoking kills us.

Good job!!! I quit smoking almost six years ago, I used Welbutrin and the patch combined. When I quit I was a three pack a day smoker and I also chewed while smoking:eek: Fortunately I am 33 and my lungs have time to somewhat recover from the abuse.

Life is good these days. It does get easier and easier as time goes too. Eventually you just will not ever think about cigarettes.
