I have a bunch more fonts on my laptop but not on this computer.
I need to copy "Edwardian Script ITC" to this machine for our 50th wedding anniversary party invitations being printed through MS Word.
I can't figure out how to copy fonts from other computers on my network.

Are you sharing the folder that the fonts are located in?
If you are, just navigate and copy and paste.
Navigate the the directory, right click, click on Sharing, check share this folder
Is that what your were looking for?

I don't know where in the computer the fonts live, all I know is if I open the MS Word document on my laptop it has the font but if I open the same document on this computer it shows up with Times New Roman and the font pull down menu does not have "Edwardian Script ITC" listed.
Which folder normally contains the fonts?

It's located in C:\Windows\Fonts\ITCEdscr.TTF on my XP powered, Office 2000 equipped machine, Dean.
If you can't find it, it's only 64k large...I'll email it to 'ya. ;)

Thanks Bill
I found it and tried to copy from one computer to the other and got a message "access denied" so I copied them all onto a disk with Roxio Easy Cd Creator and then copied from the cd into the c:\windows\fonts folder.
Now I have all the true type fonts on both computers.

Good Job, but could have saved a cd by just copying across your network or using a thumb drive. Not that CD's are expensive anyhow :)
