Found this picture while looking through some pics on yahoo. The top pic and the bottom one go so well together. The bottom is from Tianamen Square.

Maybe I'm a little caloused right now, but if I was in the tank I'd just keep going. He'll move or he'll be flat. Too easy.

As I recall, I think he or someone else did get flattened by a tank in that protest. Not sure why anyone would think that peacefull demonstrators should be mowed down by a tank though...

Gee, you sound just like the Communist Chinese who didn't give a hoot about human rights during the Tianamen Square uprising...

The point of posting the pic, IMHO, is to root for the little guy standing up for freedom in his OWN country; it wasn't to cheer on tyranny and watch people continue to be oppressed by the fat boot of dictators...

I think thats a little hard headed and harsh. These people are fighting for the exact same thing your fighting for over in Iraq, to have a democracy.

Now if that guy was standing in front of those tanks posing some kind of imminent danger to those men, then yes, mow him down.

but what if this was in the US, and the person standing in front of the tank wasCindy Sheehan?
standing in front of a moving tank is just stupid. at least the Palestinians are smart enough to stand 20 yards away and throw rocks when the tanks come rolling thru..
