Hello all, I'm looking to purchase some new headers and was looking at the afterburner models.
I am looking for opinions on the fitment, performance, build quility, plug access...basically if you are happy with them and anything I should be aware of.
My combo is in my sig and if anyone can suggest a better header please do. I am replacing these because the ones I have leak and are of poor quility and looking to upgrade.
TIA...Jeff

I don't have a lot of experiance with headers, but I love my Hedmen headers. I'd recommend Hedmen or Hooker. I'm assuming you have a 350 by looking at our 1/4 mile times. What size primaries are you currently running? If you want "easy access" to you plugs, I wouldn't suggest going bigger then 1 5/8" primaries. If you go bigger, then you'll probably have to have a custom set made, for "easy access", or buy some and hope your plugs clear...or else do what I had to, and "softly" dent your primaries till the plugs fit. As for those "Afterburner" headers, I don't know about others, but, I've always seen them as low budget headers. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion. There are a couple other name brand headers, I'm just at a total blank right now. Good luck!

save your money and buy a set of hooker super comp 1 3/4 tubes w/ 3 inch collectors. basically the best fitting that outperform most other manufactures for outa the box headers and if ya buy ceramic coated ones they are worth the extra cash and also last a good 10 years

i think they will work just fine and they leave plenty of room for future engine mods right now u may lose some low end torque but not much. just go with 2.5 inch mufflers and exhaust and youl be fine
