I am putting together a used motor I just got back from the machine shop and would like some input. The engine had a Comp 12-906-9 Solid Roller, 630 lift in/ex 276in/284ex@50 on a 107lsa. I would like to reuse it, or if anyone has any input on another grind??? I am looking up springs and the like and Summit has a 943-16($283) part number for the springs, Comp tells me it's a 938-16($126). Seems to be a totally different spring. I just ordered the 66290H Crowers and want to get the rest of the valve train but what gives here?

If you would care to make another recommendation on a cam the rest of the specs are a .0400 mild domes, standard stroke, GMPP 55cc heads with a ton of port work, flow is unknown right now(used Dale Senior heads), port matched and ported GMPP intake, just like a Victor. I would like to put my FAST system on it.

I can't help you............I just like "FROGBALLS" ! LOL

Actually a good baseline cam , as much compression as you can stuff in it and run a Pacalloy spring about 220 on the seat close to 700 over the nose ,don't use the chrome-silicon cheaper stuff ...........3/8 pushrods ( make em' work! ) use a 1:6 rocker too.
