Title pretty much says it all. I have a projection TBI setup that I wanna run. Wondering if the 700cfm body is going to be enough for a mild 454. Going to run probably a performer manifold on it, 9-9.5:1 CR and a strong off idle cam.

I'm looking in the old HPBooks "How to Hotrod Big Block Chevys" and on page 36 it reads, and I quote, "We like Honest Charley's description of the Holley 3310-1 as "The most dependable, runniest carb. ever built".
They said this b/c of it's vacuum secondaries, plus bigger then small size that just seems to work on a bunch of different sized street motor applications VERY WELL!

PS., FYI, Honest Charley was one of the first Speed Shop guy's from way back in the early days of the sport for the younger bunch that have probably never heard of him...
Kinda like the old "Midwest Auto Parts" mail-order place but if I recall, earlier on...
