after some thinking i thought these parts will do the trick to get my 3/8" fuel line up to task to help get my car down the 1/4 mile without fuel issues.

this is for my bbc.

pull my stock tank and cut sock off.

check fuel lines for cracks, use a vacuum hand pump on the main section to see if it holds vacuum after i cap off one end near fuel tank.

install fuel canister or the bullet (which one?????????????) opinion please

install light weight rod and new fuel pump and finish off the rest of the installation with copper tubing.

install needle and seats mine now .110 size.........think i should or should i save my money.

and hope like heck i dont run out of fuel during my 12 sec runs

think this system can support 110-114 mph runs???????

what do you think would be the limit would be for this system for hp?????

Here is what I had for my fuel system, Stock tank with sock, used existing 3/8 factory line. I had a carter 172 mechanical pump. I used -6 line from the 3/8 hard line into the pump. I used a -10 to -6 adaptor to connect to the Carter pump. The Carter pump has -10 inlet and -8 outlet. I used -8 line to the Carb with a -8 Fuel log. I installed a filter between pump and carb, took out the inlet filters that were in the Carb. If you do some searches on the Carter 172, you will see people who have run Mid-Elevens with this same set-up. If you are going to buy a new fuel pump, I would highly recommend the Carter 172. The lightweight rod is a good idea as well.

 I use a 170GPG Holley mechanical currently which is darn near similar and suggest use either of these two pumps to not starve your BBC. I use a ARP lightweight rod also and -8 line to my fuel log aswell. Stock 3/8" line to stock tank.

if the pumps rated at 172 gph and you use a 130 gph flow rating fuel filter isnt the systems now a 130 gph systems?

what happens when you use a 90 gph fuel filter?

your system now a 90 gph system?

i was going to buy the 130 gph holley and have afilter that flows 130 gph the same.

if i buy the carter doesnt that filter knock down the systems ?
