Well I have a 70 Chevelle that is almost a complete reproduction SS. I am not worried about it looking stock or even like a perfect SS. I want to take out the bench seat and put some Recaro seats in it. I am not sure which will fit the best or be comfortable to take a 2 hour trip in. Any other companies or suggestions you can give me I would appreciate it. thanks.

Well I just bought the Procar Rally Series 1000... Haven't gotten them in yet but they are comfortable and supportive. Plus the covers kinda of match the traditional seats. Part number 942-80-1000-51L through Jegs if you wanna check them out!

Jeff, what kinda of info do you have (if you don't mind sharing) with Recaro??? I used to do body work and my rear end has sat in numerous BMW's that had Recaro seats and they are BY FAR the best out there!! However, even when I was looking at them for my Chevelle I couldn't see myself paying 700-900 dollars per seat:sad:.

Once upon a time I knew of this 82 Alpina beemer sitting in a back lot of a used car dealer...at the time I had a CRX I was tinkering with...turns out the BBS wheels on that beemer were 4 luggers that bolt directly on a Honda...I bought said car and knocked it in the head for the wheels and seats...I still have the seats...they've been sitting in my shop for over 2 years now and they are in my way... :)
check out this thread...the seats I have are the same...and they are some comfortable extremely well built seats...
