I have a camaro that bought for my son. It has a 350 chev.
My son bought the part be lower
heads 882 casting 76cc made to 2.02
Edelbrock performer intake (2101)
Edelbrock 600cfm carb (1405)
Edlebrock rpm cam 7102
hedman header shorts
I would like to know it my son is going to be happy
is there a cam that would be at bitter for my son

Thats a pretty hot cam. Edelbrock alleges 1500-6500 power band, so technically a stock converter would work.

My concern is that with those big heads, what will the compression be?

If I were to use that cam in a 350, there would have to be at least 9.5:1 compression, a 750 on top of an RPM manifold, at least 2500 converter, and at least a set of 3.55's out back.

Lesser parts may yield less satisfaction.

The RPM cam really needs at least 10 to 1! And 11 to 1 to run right!!!! Imho.....

Dave & pdq are correct, you are not going to be happy with that cam in a lower compression 350.
The Performer cam if you are wanting Edlebrock would be a lot better but the same generic cam is available from many sources for a lot less money.
If this is a flat top engine the compression is probably going to be pretty low undecked, especially with the generic rebuilder type pistons & those heads.
A much better cam would be something like the Lunati "Voodoo" 60100 or 60101 at most.
They are 250/256, 207/213, .437/.454 - 112sep &
256/262, 213/219, .454/.468 - 112sep
respectively

Lot's of much better cams out there now.
Decide on what your plans are for compression, cu inches, rpm etc but if you are planning on the intake & carb you have listed, you want a cam to compliment the 2-5000 range with consideration for the compression you are going to end up with, preferably about 9.5.
