k guys i got my turbo off a powerstroke(can support~600hp), i have my hks 50mm wastegate, i have my edelbrock super victor E intake, my modded 750 holley dp, an intercooler. i need to address my fuel pump now, what would u recomend for a fuel pump? i have a holley blue but i dont think it would cut it pressure wise. im going for about 500hp with a mild 355 on about 8-10 lbs.

One way is a 255lph inline EFI pump. $150
It will flow plenty at 20psi.
Use a Mallory reg for efi/carbs. Comes with a different spring is all. $100 I've been told.
Or an Aeromotive with boost ref. port.
Put a 1/2" line in place of your stock p/u line.
Filters?
Or 1/2" line with a boost referenced carter 172 mech pump. Which is a cheaper route due to the suction filter for efi pump. Earls sells al. bungs to weld to the pump case.
With the EFI, you'll need to plumb a return line.
But you'll need 1/2" for the mech pump so plumbing cost is about the same except for filters.
I'm doing a med budget turbo setup, so I've looked into this a little.
Edit: added a little and update price.

Magnaflow/Magnafuel 300 gph pump would be an excellent choice for a blow-through setup.

I too am considering a budget turbo setup using a carb. Mine would be a blow-through, like a ATI ProCharger.
Do you guys expect it will be hard to tune a carb'd turbo motor?

yeah I am working on a blowthru carbed single turbo Holset H2C all of the above recommended fp's will do it. Also remember to install a blow off valve. and dont go overboard with cam you can reach your hp goals with a small cam and not turn the motor over 5,500 rpm so build accordingly. btw what heads are you running?
