PLEASE HELP. I took the console out of my car today and disassembled it. I bought a new clock lense because my old one is scratched to hell. I need to get the stem knob off. How do I do this? I tried unscrewing it (thought it was threaded). I am now thinking that the knob is pressed on. Anyway I don't want to break anything, so I decide to wait for your responses. oh yeah I would also like to say to whomever has fixed these clock them self HOW DID YOU DO IT? I read the post on how to fix them but to confusing for me.

Thanks for the help

Hot66ss, I believe if you look at the stem very closely, you'll find a very small screw in the center of the stem. You have to remove that screw to get the knob off. I hope this helps.
