I need some screws to reinstall my roof rail stainless that holds the weather stripping on a 66 2dr.
They are very flat headed phillip srews, I found some at Ace Hardware but, I need a size lager then the originals beacuse my holes are wollared out.
Has anyone else ran into this porblem?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Go to an automotive upholstery supply house there in DFW...they will have exactly what you are looking for...

Robert's Upholstery Supply House...R.U.S.H. is there in Texas somewhere...maybe Dallas...

Sometimes you can tap the metal down around a wallered out hole and get the screw to grab again. Another trick is to bend a piece of wire into a little "U" shape and hang it in the hole. You can run a screw in there now and it should hold.
