Removed Sep 22nd, 07, 7:32 AM And I thought my 7' wingspan DC-3 was big but this thing makes it look like a Piper Cub!! Good video, really enjoyed it.
Racing Sep 22nd, 07, 7:34 AM Sweet  4- 160 cc engines. The largest plane I have has a 42cc engine, the size used in weed eaters.
SSuper Dave Sep 22nd, 07, 10:48 AM Wait til DZ sees this!!!!!
ChaosEnvy Sep 22nd, 07, 11:30 AM Definately Nice, but not the Biggest in the world.

The B-29 looks much nicer though.I think it's touted as the largest model RC plane.
Thanks for sharing. Right up there with the RC B52 and the other B29 that drops the Bell X1 that flys as well. Lot's of really sharp folks out there building and flying these things.
ChaosEnvy Sep 22nd, 07, 5:30 PM This one had the record before, but I think it was destroyed in a crash.

SethT Sep 22nd, 07, 6:45 PM If only they had used four stroke engines....that sound coming out of it would have been incredible...still extremely cool.

WOW! The only thing missing is the black smoke trails!
Augustboy2009 Sep 23rd, 07, 2:02 AM Wow, that B-29 was huge!
Have you seen this one of the DC-10 FedEx R/C Plane? I love this one. At the end of the video they put a video camera on the fuselage.
The loops and aileron rolls were kind of inappropriate. I wonder what his Zero Fuel Weight is? Definetly not a standard power take off! LoL

MrBill66Malibu Sep 23rd, 07, 9:46 AM Did it take 2 guys to fly it? or was 1 a back up? The landing was incredible. Those guys were really good!!!

Word! Still nothing sounds like a radial engine though.
Very cool seeing that thing in the air, it looks like the real thing.
