Just received my F41 rear suspension kit from our sponsor. For my 1965 Malibu.
The bushings on 1 side stick out about 1/2" What's the deal? The bushings on my old stock arms fit exactly between the end brackets of the arms. Also, the sway bar holes go on the back side of the car? Do you always use the shims or just if the bar is loose?
Thanks!

use the shims only if you need them.

John ...did you just get em ...were they on back order like mine ...????

mine were goofy like and had to return em yesterday ...I just despise when I have to return items ...

on the sides of control arms there are a small circle and oval like hole next to each other ...these always face forward of car ...

and the holes for sway bar should be toward rear of car ....

and its normal that the bushings stick out a bit ...but you do have the tight like fit with bushings between the bracket....correct ???

btw ....sway bar holes like this ....from this thread
