HEY GUYS, WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD HEAT SHEILD TO COVER THE STARTER FROM HEATING UP WHICH CAUSES THE CAR NOT TO START UNTIL IT COOLS DOWN. I HEARD OF SO MANY DIFFERENT OPITIONS, SUCH AS A THERMO-COVER, METAL PLATE ETC. WHICH ONE DO YOU GUYS RECOMMAND?

Any type of thin sheet metal works fine such as a piece of an old body panel. Anything to act as a barrier for the heat.

I have the blanket wrap type on mine and it has worked just fine for a number of years.
