so tonight i finally finished changing all brake lines, and new wheel cylinders yayaya!!

3 years ago my brake line busted on a hard brake in the driveway and since then ive been doing body work to the car (quarters, rockers the whole shabang) so for 3 years the brake system has been without brake fluid (nothing in the master cylinder). i have now replaced all brake lines rubber and steel and new wheel cylinders springs shoes etc.

so tommorw ill start to add fluid...where do i start do i need to bench bleed the master? how is this done if i need to? then make my way to bleeding the drums?

all help/suggestions appreciated.

thanks, Giancarlo

Might as well remove the master cyl. and bench bleed it since there isnt any fluid in it. Mount it in a vice and plug both ports and fill it with brake fluid. Then push the piston in with a screwdrive and watch the bubbles raise. It will get harder to push as the air is removed.

There is also a cheap kit with plastic fitting and small plastic tubes you can get. A lot of master cyls. come with this kit too. It just loops small plastic lines around and right back into the fluid in the reservior. That way works too, just follow the instructions that come with it.

Either of these will work.
