I have them on my car and they look exactly like the SSM (southside) lift bars. And no the coil springs are not relocated on Chevelles. You may be thinking of the ones for ford mustangs. It's turkey day so I'll try to snap a pick in the next day or so and post a link. They work great! But I was unable to reuse my rear sway bar. But I haven't noticed any difference without it.

Did you guys hear about the issue with jegs and SSM? South side machine is a home run business, by husband and wife. Anyways, for whatever reason, Jegs screwed ssm for quite a few orders. Basically, SSM sent the bars, jegs didnt pay, there was a big falling out and jegs is cutting ties with SSM and basically copying their design for their own bars. I think the matter is in court. If I can find the post by Linda(Im pretty sure her name is Linda, cant remember) Ill let you guys look at it. Its been a while since I heard anything from her, but she is part owner of the company and had a lot of crappy things to say about the deal with jegs.

Ive been looking and I cant find it yet. Im finding a lot of different rumors that say SSM decided to close and offered jegs the patent for ten grand, but they didnt pay and are making them anyways(basically stole the patent). And Im also finding a lot of people saying its a father son company and the two were having disagreements, so they just quit the business cause of the problems they were having. Initially though, it was on another message board where one of the people involved in the whole mess(who Im fairly sure who was the wife and her name is Linda, but who knows) talked of the incident I posted of above, but I cant remember all the details. Either way, from her account of the incedent, jegs definitely screwed SSM, but I guess even that can be untrue. Ill keep looking if anyone wants to know.

You're welcome Shane,I hope the pics help. Buy Summit, they sponsor racers and races and prices are usually cheaper too.

Summit doesn't carry them. I have found that each company has very similar pricing, but I've had better service from Jeg's, personally. Summit is good, but they messed up an order of mine pretty badly and I've been dealing with a local guy lately. It's nice to actually get the parts in-hand and see them, then if there is a problem, it's much easier to return the part. Just my .02
