Fabbing up my own hydraboost system similar to this 68 camaro using the cobra hydraboost system.

Anyone know the pressure inlet and pressure outlet metric fitting sizes off hand? The in line from the PS pump is 18mm I think and the out line to the PS box is 16mm? Need to order some metric to AN fittings and would like to get the right ones.

BTW, this is pretty easy to do, just takes some time. I'll be into my whole HB system for around $200. Good for those of us who have more time than $$.

Hey was getting around to doing this as well. Did you check the Astro van version?

Make sure to keep us updated, saving a few hundered and a little custom fabwork is good buy me!

does anyone know if the astro hydroboost will bolt up I have heard of this setup used before but with what level of modification?

probably not a "bolt in" deal, but Astros are all over the junkyards.
there aint nothing wrong with a little fabrication.

I just pulled one of an Astro Van today. I'm a ways off from any install but I'll probably see how it fits up to my firewall over the next couple of weeks. Getting the lines all fitted up proper looks like it could get confusing at the moment, but like all these mods things get worked out.
