I am restoring a 1970 Chevelle SS Conv with a zz572 engine. I got the engine installed ok but I cant figure where to put the factory oil pressure sender. There is a large 1/2 inch pluged hole in the rear of the block just below the intake manafold, is this where is goes? This is the last this on need to install on this engine so I can test start it, someone please help!

I will post some pics for you guys to see if someone can tell me how.

This 1/2 inch pluge on the back of the engine, is this for the oil pressure sender? Here is a pic if of the back of the engine.

I think you are thinking correctly. Mine is at the port right near the z bar ball stud. I needed 3 adapters I believe.
