I just installed a Milodon 7qt oil pan and Felpro 1 piece pan gasket with an ARP stud kit. I torqued the nuts down to about 25-30 ft/lbs. After installing the motor, i double checked the bolts again and found some were loose, which i resnugged. when i fired the engine, after some time, oil is leaking from several places around the pan, especialy the back. it gets worse the warmer the motor gets. i tried to snug the bolts some more, but to no avail. I am going to try to remove the pan with the motor in the car, as an engine hoist isnt available at this time. the engine is a big block in a 69 chevelle. thanks in advance.

Had a 7qt pan on mine, and it leaked. Went with a one piece gasket which made it worse. Mine was leaking by the starter where there is a bigger gap between bolts (and a few other spots). Also it was a chrome one. The rib that goes all around did not go past this point.

I fixed it by taking the 7qt one off and putting the normal one back on.

No more leaks :D
