Rich, PM sent

Brad, Glad to hear your surgery went well. I know that's been a long drawn ordeal for ya.

Charles, Looking forward to seeing you again. You still have the black car?

Where's the rest of you Florida guys?

Jeff sez "Charles, Looking forward to seeing you again. You still have the black car?"

~~~~>Yep, and it is still a thrill to drive, except I need to go back to PS.
I will be taking it to Silver Springs (or perhaps my kid will), and probably to The Turkey Rod Run.
Hope to see you there.
Where are the monthly/weekly shows in Daytona? We are there most weekends, in some fashion or another. Years ago, the shows at the Mall were well attended.
Also, We are going to have a free beer nite up at the Ormond house for the Rod Run. Think we can get some 'Vellers interested? These Ford folks are, ah...not too exciting.
NPD did a great job with the whole event...especially the price!! The weather was wet until the day of the show where it did not rain until the awards ceremony. The cruise on Friday was outstanding and well-led by Rick (NPD owner). They preregistered a bunch of cars (little less than 800 I think) and had over 400 show up because of the heat, humidity and rain forecast. Derrick and the rest of the guys did a great job in an outstanding venue for a show. Even the entertainment (Spinners) was good. Thanks NPD for an excellent event and for moving more heavily into the GM, especially Chevy, arena!!!
Hi all. Since I am in Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale ) would you drive your car that far? I have a 70 Chevelle SS, really dont know if I should take that trip. The car is great but road chips, rain...I dont know. Maybe I am to pickey?
Thanks for the kind words!
The event saw 421 cars and trucks, and yes the dreary forecast over the entire week played into the drop in attendance (477 last year), but there were still plenty of beautiful rides in attendance!
I'm hopeful we'll have better weather next year, as the 1st year for the show it was perfect weather. So maybe 3rd time a charm for more cars and good weather again?
On the drive from south Florida, I'd say that's about a 4 to 4-1/2 hour drive. My cars are all driven to shows, so I'd say why not? We had one guy drive from South Carolina for the show this year!
Derek, Once again we had a great time at the show, :thumbsup: needlesss to say we didn't make the cruise on Friday but we did have our own adventerous trip over from Ormond in the rain storm. I haven't driven the car much this year and we had a finnicky wiper motor that worked when it felt like it so that added a pucker factor at times. :eek:
Must have a loose wire up under the dash? Lovely. That will be fun to get to.
Judging by some of the registration numbers it looked like over 700 preregistered? That's good turnout for a second year show. Job well done Derek. :bow:
I was able to meet up with a several old acquaintenances but I missed meeting Rich? I found your car buddy and kept checking back but never saw anyone around the car? Very sweet ride BTW. Sorry we missed each other at the show. :(
Charles, It was good talking to you again, I always enjoy seeing that 300 car of yours. Finest Kind.
We scrambled to the car when the rain shower came in. Does anybody know if that orange/black 69Z that was parked towards the front and center of the stage area won anything? Bill is the guys first name.....his last name escapes me right now?
