I am by far not a greenhorn when it comes to e-bay orthe post office. I bought a set of SS stencils on e-bay on Sept 5th. I had a short delay in sending payment. I mailed it via Priority on the 10th and tracking shows it delivered on the 13th. I have goten 2 e-mails from this douche asking me where my payment is. It was only $24.50 so no real big deal but here's where the post office sucks. I called and talked to a very unhelpful rude person. I was told no insurance=no refund. I read the back of the money order to him:
"This recipt is your guarentee for a refund of your money order if it is lost or stolen, provided you fill n the pay to and from information on the money order in the space provided. No claim for improper payment permitted 2 years after payment. If your money order is lost or stolen present this resipt and file a claim for a refund at your post office. An inquiryform 6401 may be filed at any time for a fee. A refund will not be ssuedfor 60 days after the money order purchase date provided the money order has not been paid"
This ticks me off and if he has cashed it then I have no recourse I guess I would consider it stolen cashed or not. This is a FYI on Postal Money orders they are not necessarily fool-proof. I only live 250 miles away from this turd...maybe I'll have to look him up at CB08 since he lives in Bristol, TN.
