: Hotchkiss rear springs too low spacers?

I have just installed a Hotchkiss kit in my 72 chevelle. All four springs were changed. The rear sits like 1.5 to 2 inches too low. I am thinking of a spacer that will either go under the spring or over it. I did a search and found people that have done this but no links to a product. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some? And which are the best?? I assume aluminum.
Thx Bill

I've seen the spacers that go under the spring but have no idea where to lay hands on them. Call around or run a search on Google.

Are you saying the rear is lower than the front or the Hotchkis springs make your rear too low? The Hotchkis springs are ment to lower your car. If you want the stock height in the rear, buy some stock height rear springs.

Maybe I'm not understanding the problem . Hotchkis springs should lower the car front and rear, with the front being an inch or so lower than the rear. I guess I'm confused by your problem, sorry..

The rear is not too low, the front is too high. ;) :D

These are 3" tall, but you can cut them down to whatever height you desire with a bandsaw, grinder, chop-saw, etc.

Thanks Derek, you were right, the front is a little high but the back is slammed down. I want to raise the rear. I have seen them made out of solid aluminum that will raise ya 1.5 inches or 2 inches. I am looking for those. If I dont find em I will go with the ones you recommended. Or I could just pull the damn "matched" springs and send em back ta Hotchkiss with a little love letter. I hate ta spend money and not get what was advertised.
Thanks
Bill

If you suspect the springs are defective, I'd be contacting Hotchkis. Why should you have to buy spacers to make something right that should have been right in the first place? I have Hotchkis lowering springs, they work as intended.
