I just finished painting the dash bezel of my 68 chevelle with SEM Black Landau paint as suggested in other posts, it came out great. My question, what is the correct black color for the other metal components of the dash ie-around the glove compartment, between the dash pad and window etc? Should it be a match to the Landau black or something more glossly. If so will the SEM Landau Black which is mean't for plastic and vinyl be ok on metal. Any suggestions on paint brand, color and prep will be great.

Last time I painted mine, I used the SEM #39103 Bumper coater paint. It's a low sheen urethane that holds up better than the other laquer or enamel based rattle can paint. Color match is great and durablity is too. You will need to let this dry for 48 hours or more so it can harden.
Or, if you want to be totally correct, here's a website that gives a Ditzler code and explanation of interior colors on '68's-courtesy of AutoColorLibrary.com
