Umm I dont have experience with this, so maybe just consider this a bump. I believe you can just buy a box, but also need a manual pitman arm. The manual pitman arm should fit your centerlink as the centerlinks are the same. I think all you need is a manual box from 66-72(64-65 may fit) and its manual pitman arm and you are good. Now if I am wrong I am sure someone will corect me. Why an S10 box?

i think you need a 69-72 manual steering pitman also. i also went from power to manual and used a box from a 72 chevelle. it already had the pitman installed. mike

Yeah...gotta have a manual pitman arm from a '68-'72. Don't get rid of your PS setup yet.
Been this route before...changed back to a PS setup two weeks later. Lotta weight on the front end makes manuvering fun. :(
