took my back seat out...can't see any build sheet...could it be in the cushion? maybe recovered at some point and buildsheet tossed? found some cardboard lookin stuff...dunno what it is...o and one shot of the paint peeling revealing that monaco orange just begging to be seen

Another common place - very common - is above the gas tank. I don't know if you can drop it easily or not - is that a big deal to do?

There's no guarantee you will find one; not every car has/had one. If you do find one, consider yourself very fortunate indeed.
Have you looked in the front seatbacks if you have buckets? Or, the bottom seat springs/behind door panels/above glovebox/glued to front inner fenders/above headliner/under carpet/under floor insulation/stuffed up inside dash, etc.?

i've looked all those places BUT the inner fender and gas tank....i wish the dog had it in his mouth...it actually wouldn't surprise me...puppys are to much work! haha

I found a prestine build sheet BETWEEN the foam and outer cover (you'd have to take the cover off to look) of the rear SEAT BACK (not the rear seat bottom). Might not hurt to take off teh outer cover of the rear seat bottom though.

Didnt the assembly plants start using buildsheets predominantly in 69? I havent heard of any sort of buildsheet being found in any car before then. Most sheets found are usually interior trim sheets.
