as title says i want to paint the master cylinder and the booster they have some mild rust and grease buildup, what should i use to paint them or clean them up?

Had the same thing happen on my 66 GTO, what I did was clean it with lacquer thinner and then took a toothbrush and applied caylx (sp?) from Eastwoods to it and it looks like new. I think Eastwoods has a product you can spray on the booster after you clean it to make it look new.
