So if I'm running a JW altra bell do I need a trans blanket?

Finally got my 80 Malibu to hook today
Got called to the tower today after my first and only Nitrous pass.

Guy says 9.63 is far from a 9.90
Oh that was a 9.63 1.34 60ft with a 140lbs of weight added to the car

I played stupid Oh I need a license
He says Yea you run another 9 second pass I'll put you on the trailer.
It's not like you just dipped into the 9's

So I said I would only run engine passes the rest of the day.

Next engine pass was a 10.43 1.36 60ft then a new best engine pass of 10.20 1.38 60ft
Some nice 2-3 ft wheels up shots from what I hear.
I haven't smiled this much in so long my face hurts

Yes you need the flexplate shield, the ultra bell covers that and you need a trans shield. This will either be a blanket or shield.

Great job! How much spray?
Seems like we have similar combos (perf wise).

Yes, you still need a blanket or trans shield with the Ultrabell. I run the same setup.
A blanket works fine for me.

Got ya on the grinning thing!
