70 Chevelle SS. Rear passenger window....little guide with a bearing on the back of it popped off and now window will not go up without manual assistance. Question, do I need to remove the upholstery in the rear to fix the track etc.. or can I access/fix everything with the black door jam vent off? Also, Year one has a guide to replace mine, but it has a threaded end. The one that popped off/out is a little guide with a small ball bearing and an allen screw that goes through it. Is this hard to fix and can I get this part? Wondering if I can still use the old one, but wondered if I can "pop" the bearing back into the hole. Thanks in advance for your help. Tom.

PAIN IN THE A$$!!!! If it's the guide roller it is a true pain unless you have the right tool. If it's the one at the bottom corner of the glass and slides on the long vertical track, that's the guide roller. There is a special tool with two prongs to hold the special circular nut that tightens it to the glass.
If thats the one you need to replace, I can give some more pointers as I have done it numerous times! If it's any of the other ones, they aren't too hard. Tak the panel off and get to it from both angles, it'll help alot.

Well, this one is towards the front of the car. It's right before the roller on the end of the glass. It has a little ball bearing in it and is right next to the roller with the threaded stud. How do you go about taking off the rear panel? Thanks. Tom.
