Hi I have a 67 chevelle with an 8.2 rear end I would like to swap this for a 8.5, but not sure what kind or year of car will fit. Does anyone have an answer? thanks:confused:

64-72 will fit but 68-72 is one 1" wider. The 8.5" tenbolt is rare try to locate a 12 bolt think they are more common. Do a search in the trans section and you will find what car year to look after for the 8.5" tenbolt.

you may have to use different rear springs as the spring perch for 64-66 is diferent than 67-72. If you use a 12 bolt you wll probably have to use a differnt upper control arm for the drivers side. 68-72 a lot cheaper.
