I started blocking my cowl hood after trying to fill some low areas.
I have high spots where the hood skin is glued to the frame work under the hood.
My question: I know I need to knock down these high spots with, a hammer? Can anyone tell me what technic to use when bumping these areas (high spots) down?
thanks in advacne for any help!

If the spots are caused by the glue the best method is to cut the glue. Glue expanded and now pushing the metal up. Cut the glue the metal goes down.
With the metal in the proper place replace the glue with a NVH foam. Duramix makes an excellent one...Eric

Is this foam in a can?

Speak to the hood like a gentleman with a block of wood and a hammer to massage the high spots if the glue is not the culprit.
