Since I have been here, I have noticed more than a few questions on the bracket placements for bench to bucket conversions.

When I did mine during the week---I took measurements and made a drawing of bracket/bolt locations for the 4-piece bracket set.

Actually a footprint with bolt spacing and a starting point.

Since I am not a Supporting Member:wacko: (yet), Perhaps it would be a good idea for someone to post this drawing on a sticky in the interior section.

I would need to e-mail to someone to post.

I sent this drawing to another, and he seems to understand it---maybe it would help others??

Also have actaul pics----although not annotated----someone could figure out how to explain better than me.

Actually Bryan as a non-paying member but having enough posts to be a"Tech Team" member, you have the ability to upload a pic to our showroom. IIRC you have a 300k limit so it isn't going to allow a real big picture. Another option is to post it to www.photobucket.com and link it when some one asks for the dimensions.

I could also use this info. I'm attempting a floor pan replacement in my 67 and not sure how I'm getting my seats back in (no idea where the brackets/holes should go)

If you didn't already email the drawing to someone, you can send it here and I can post it flameout@gmail.com

I have sent this some of this stuff to Jim (jnorth) & Jeff (70 gold nugget)

This was a 4-piece braket kit --66-72
repro seat tracks noted for 68-72----(don't really know if the 66/7 are different)
the seats I used (and seat belt retractors)---68 Buick GS

Replacing the floor pans should not really create a big issue.
The starting point holes are actually in the floor support.
"Rub-a-Dub" has a thread here---tight floor pans.
Looking thru that you can see the 'weldnuts' in the floor support.

Your photos were posted and the new thread has been stuck. Now you just need to fill in the blanks :)
