Surprising to see the Heater Hose Boo-Boo.
Also curious for input on TCI Vacumn cylinder position?
I'm sure somebody here knows this car.
Will be neat to see what the "real McCoy" of my Recreation sells for.
.
dreis454 Sep 12th, 07, 12:21 PM I think thats a members car.....left to him when his dad died.
if I remember right
what is the heater hose boo-boo? I don't see it
69396ss Sep 12th, 07, 12:43 PM Should be plain ribbed instead of GM Logo I believe.
His Dad had excellant tastes in Muscle cars. :)
mr 4 speed Sep 12th, 07, 1:45 PM absolutely beautiful car
69396ss Sep 12th, 07, 2:32 PM Yep, That'd be my Dream Pick.
ohhawk Sep 12th, 07, 3:02 PM As noted on another site.........this car has already sold. Seller was asking $150,000 but was willing to consider trades up to $50,000 against the asking price.
MEJ1990TM Sep 12th, 07, 3:33 PM Wow! You guys are saying its beautiful. Even with that junk lacquer?
I think its an excellent looking car. But its surprising to get that kind of response for a car thats painted with lacquer.

Donnie1 Sep 12th, 07, 4:45 PM this car has been SOLD.
69396ss Sep 12th, 07, 4:53 PM That car is an Icon. It deserves to be restored EXACTLY how it left the factory.
So I'm going to say the value on this car is $150K since he was persuaded to close the auction 8 days early, I'm going to assume he negotiated his asking price.
We talk alot on here about clones and recreations and investment values of original cars versus non original.
So what's a reasonably nice, top "local show" caliber recreation of this exact car worth?
I may be opening myself up for a little bashing, but I'm seriously curious.
"carbon copy in the bottom link"
mmurphy77 Sep 12th, 07, 7:40 PM WOW! I'm surprised he's getting rid of it being that his dad left it, I know I would keep anything my dad left me.
WAX-UM Sep 12th, 07, 8:45 PM Their are some things you just cant put a value on, "this is one example" I actually dont think 150k is bad. 4000 LS6's How many have this kinda history, build quality, color and options. I bet there are less than 100 real deals like this one left. Alot may claim too have one but you know when its a real deal.
After all this is one of the nicest highest hp muscle car ever made !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MEJ1990TM Sep 12th, 07, 9:16 PM Well it's not an LS6 and it doesn't have a red interior. But I've got a cranberry real deal over here. :D
WAX-UM Sep 12th, 07, 9:52 PM My latest project is not an LS6 either.
1970 LS5 M22 3:31 posi survivor original paint Ha! Ha! If only my wallet was deep enough for a LS6.
