Earlier this morning I got my new wheels and tires! :D

9107 (http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=19076&d=1189519469)

Front - 18x8.5 (5.2 bs) w/ 255/40-18
Rear - 19x10 (5.5 bs) w/ 295/35-19

Originally I ordered them for the Chevelle, but I think they look better on the Elky. I guess I'll have to figure out something else for the 'Velle.

Put 'em on and let us see how the look!! They look like a "modern" wheel, not a traditional that most put on their Chevelles. I really want to see what they look like. I've got a '66, you might open some eyes with these wheels.

Thanks! They're Forgeline wheels... http://www.forgeline.com/

As soon as I get done with bleeding the brakes and some other stuff I'll take a couple of pics and post them. Unfortunately, that'll have to wait until tomorrow because it's already dark out side. :(

When I first looked at the wheels I didn't think I liked them but seeing them on your Elky they look alright.

Thanks. I'm happy with how it turned out. My wife on the other hand, likes the bling and prefers the entire wheel to be shiny.

Right now they're sitting in the garage but I plan to put them on the Chevelle when once it's up and running. How long they'll stay on there I'm not sure.

Very nice, but way too much $$$ for my budget!

The old ones are Intro Pentia. If you're not in a hurry maybe when I get further along with the Chevelle we can work something out. And yeah, they would look good on your '67.

Thanks. I put one of the back wheels on the Chevelle to see how it looked, and I think it looks great. Of course that's a bad thing because I'm already thinking of how I can swing another set! :D

I completely agree with this. I think they look good on either of the cars. I think the biggest thing with the bigger wheels, is that you have to get the ride height right. If the car sits too high, they look goofey and if it's too low, you should drive a honda :D
Either car you put these on, they are going to look good. Good choice in wheels, I know how nerve wracking it is picking wheels.

Thanks! I appreciate the positive feedback. Considering how much these wheels cost, it was a very hard decision which ones to get. I'm very happy with my choice and washing them after the first drive made every penny I spent worth while - the brake dust and road grime wiped right off! No more trying to polish out water spots for me!

Thanks, and yes, the entire package (wheels/tires/mounting/balancing/shipping) was $5122. :clonk:
