Could someone please give me an idea as to what my car is doing here.
The first #s are with the timing @36 total,
second # are 38 total. all in by my launch(2000rpm)Thanx

60ft 1.813/1.817
330ft 5.221/5.203
660 ft 8.028/8.014
660 mph 87.86/85.87(Thats the mystery)
1000ft 10.448/10.448
et 12.521/12.520
mph 106.37/108.37

The mph went up as it should have advancing the timing, but I just dont understand the 1000ft being the same and the 660ft being lower than the first run with less advance.Thanx for any help...

The motor is a 383 750dp 72 prim/75 sec.
28"tire/ 3:73gear.shifted at 6000.(TH 350)3600stall. Let me know if you guys need any more info. Thanx again for any help........

You should actually see more mph with less advance. That's why some guys run ignition retards so they will have a little more mph on the big end. It's very doubtful that 2 degrees either way will play much with ET, and that much with mph (maybe .50 or so in mph, but not 2). Now if you were way advanced and then advanced it enough to get into some serious detonation then it could hurt et and mph. The thing that is funny is that on the first run the 660 mph is about 2 mph faster but the 1320 mph is 2 slower that then the second  . Did you have much of wind on that particular day? Are those the only 2 runs you made?

Chad, yes they were the only runs made that day and there was NO wind to speak of.
Also the car did not detonate ,and my fuel psi was in the 5psi area,so it wasn't noseing over either. At least it didn't feel like it.
Thanx for the relpy.

??? Very strange. The second run suggests a better 1/8 et with a lower mph after posting a worse 60' and a better 330'. Did you experience any wheel hop or wheel spin after say 100' on the first pass? That could maybe explain it.

Troy, the first launch was loading the converter to 2000,the second was just stabbing it.The first pass did feel like it spun just a tad second felt better.IE not as much spin....

Same or different lanes?

Did you make more runs?

Kind of hard to say much with just two runs.

Same lanes, and just the 2 runs.
Or ,we could just look at the best run and let me know if the #'s jive?

Did you have a shift in between the 660 traps?
I noticed the same thing on my car (muncie 4 speed) when I changed my shift point from 5600 down to 5400.
At 5600 shift points and during the 3-4 shift, I would be just past the 1/8 mile traps and had a 87 mph 1/8th speed with a 110 mph quarter.
When I shifted at 5400, the 3-4 shift would occur right in the middle of the traps and give me a 1/8 mile speed of 85 mph and a 1/4 mph of 111 mph.
60's were consistently 2.1 seconds.
