Hey guys,
I know nothing when it comes to computer wiring harnesses. I have a 502 Ramjet on hold at a Chevy dealer for my 70 Malibu and was going to redo the wiring with a Painless wiring kit. I didn't know if i needed any special order or additional harness for the computer or ignition. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

What does your Chevy dealer say you need? Here's a writeup from Salee Chevrolet.........

Designed for ease of installation, the Ram Jet 502 needs only 12 volt, ground, fuel feed and fuel return to run. Included are an instruction sheet, service manual and diagnostic tool for ease of installation and service. As with any GM Ram Jet engine, an in tank fuel pump is recommended to avoid possible vapor lock. See the instruction sheet for fuel pump recommendations. Also included is complete throttle linkage that accepts your production throttle cable and transmission cable. Includes pre-programmed MEFI 3 CFM (computer module) and wiring harness.

So it is not part of the factory harness I guess. I guess it just plugs up to the batt. Oh well, I will see when I pick it up. Just gata get the breaks together and wheels put on.
