Okay guys, what do you recommend for top dressing? I've got a '69 with dark green top & don't want the shiny armoral look.

I used to use Pledge on my vinyl top cars. It really works great.

Don't use Vinylex.......Every time you wash the car, you will have streaks on the paint from the run off. It never stopped coming off.

I tried Mequiar #40 for vinyl and rubber. Applied and wiped off with a rag to eliminate the glossy look. Looks better than before. Haven't washed the car since though.

Heard about #40 from an old thread on this site. Not in the stores, I bought it on-line.

Aerospace 303 protectant, good as it gets.:thumbsup:

Apply a generous coat and wipe the excess off.

Lemon Pledge IS the top secret exotic formula. Just r i g h t! Even foe the interior. Proven method for 35 years and still going strong!

I remember using Lemon Pledge many years ago. Isn't it high in silicone though.

I use Malco PB2 - it was recommended to me by a body shop owner. Two coats and the vinyl looks new, not too shiny. Here is a link:
