Hi
I am thinking about attempting hanging a pair of goodmark quarters on this thing. I have done extensive bodywork before on other cars but nothing as far into it as I want to take this project. This needs both quarters ,trunk trunk filler panel, inner and outer wheelhouses and tailight panel as well as two doorskins. I dont have $ for all the body shop labor and I know I have the skills necessary for this but I am scared to make mistakes. I want this car black when done so :noway: I know how perfect everything has to end up .This car will eventually go to my son and I reaaly want it to come out mint! Anyone out there with any advice? I have done heavy restoration on vehicles since I was 13 years old and am now 38. I want to do this one as body off frame and dont really care how long it takes me to complete. I do HVAC for a living in case anyone wants to barter any local bodywork labor for some central air in their house or something. H

Hello and welcome Paul. Have you looked in the Body section on here?

Here's an article from our Restoration Shop (http://www.chevelles.com/shop/resto_3.html) that might be helpful to read.

Also, here's some previous discussions regarding installing quarters (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/search.php?searchid=1893554) that I hope you find useful.

Welcome and good luck with the '66. I always thought my '66 was a cool looking car

Enjoy the build and get that boy involved!
