hey guys, Im looking for some input on tubbing my 65 El Camino.
First off, I'm using a 12 bolt rear end and want to run at least 12.5 wide slicks. I`m want to use competition engineering`s rear frame kit.
my two big concerns are keep the 1/4 panels well supported (and preventing warp age) and not degrading the overall strength of the frame.
It all seems strait forward with adding extra brasses to the body and framework, but this is breaking new ground for me and i`d like to avoid any costly mistakes. also wondering if I should go with the 4 link or ladder bar.
thanks guys

This is not a job for the novice. Thats why shops charge between 3 and 6 grand to backhalf a car. If you do it your self, Take your time.
As for 4 link-v-ladder bar. The question is, What is your main use going to be? The ladder bar is easier to set up and more street friendly. The 4 link is much more adjustable for the track, But takes more knowledge to set up properly.
