At the bottom of the information sheet for my 454HO, it says "Ignition Timing: 4° BTDC". Does that mean the cam was installed 4° advanced, or is that what they recommend setting the timing at?

Heres a link to the sheet:

Thats exactly what I was thinking, so I wasn't sure what exactly they meant by that. I have it set at around 10 deg advanced now and it runs great. Why would they only recommend 4 deg advanced?

Maybe that's their way of getting out of fixing motors on warranty tongue.gif ...I figure, the less (but safe)timing, the less chances of anything bad happening. ???? who knows??? Give it hell and if it bites back, take it back!!!..lol graemlins/beers.gif
